Mentoring

Each year alumni board seats become available with the end of member terms. Anyone who is a former employee of the Daily who worked at least one quarter while attending the University is initially eligible to serve. Board members are not affiliated with the Daily Board of Directors and are not paid any stipends for service. Alumni Board members meet monthly and work to organize Daily alumni to provide for, develop and facilitate: communication between Daily alumni; development of professional and social contacts among alumni; communication between alumni and Daily staffers; and opportunities for alumni to support work and mission of the Daily.
