2010 Spring Celebration and Fundraiser
Reminisce on the good old days — Daily deadlines, campus newsmakers and office hi-jinks — with former and current employees, while supporting students’ future Daily dreams, at the annual Minnesota Daily Alumni Association 2010 Spring Celebration and Fundraiser on Saturday, April 17.

We’ll kick-off our special evening with a Social Hour beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Coffman Memorial Union’s Mississippi Room, overlooking the Fountain Terrace landscape and scenic Mississippi River’s East Bank.
At 7:30 p.m., the MDAA will proudly present keynote speaker Eric Ringham and entertainer David Harris.
Commentary editor for Minnesota Public Radio, and former commentary editor for the StarTribune, Eric Ringham will share insights about his experience transitioning from a print journalism career to a radio broadcast news outlet, where he produces written and audio Web content for 103,575 members and more than 850,000 listeners each week, the largest audience of any regional public radio network. Questions and dialog are encouraged!
Later in the evening, Daily alumni and Comedian/Magician David Harris will take the stage. David has appeared on Minnesota’s ABC, CBS, & FOX TV affiliates; preview his humorous and highly sought after act at www.davidharrislive.com.
Guests are invited to bid on MDAA Silent Auction items to help raise funds for the MN Daily Student Scholarship throughout the evening. Items include:

Tickets include beverages and a delicious hors d’oeuvres buffet fit for U of M President Bob Bruininks. Guests, family and friends of alumni are welcome!
- Alumni and guest tickets are available for $25 prior to the event—and for $30 at the door.
- Student tickets are available for $10 prior to the event—and for $15 at the door.
